The final wellhead valves are out of scope of this assessment. Result: The documented design, engineering and fault avoidance and validation activities comply with the requirements of IEC 61511 for SIL 2. |
| Specific Provisions | The project related safety manual (P102929-EF-SMA-001) and the safety documentation delivered by the component suppliers have to be observed. Any changes in type or firmware of used hardware / software modules and changes in the application logic requires a reconsideration of the whole system. The valiation of the target system including SAT is not covered by this assessment. |
