Scope of Certification | E/E/PE- System Realisation, related to IEC 61508 Parts 1-7:2010 - Phase 10 (E/E/PE safety related Systems Realisation) The certified company has successfully demonstrated during an audit process that a Functional Safety Management System has been implemented and applied accordingly. Purpose of the audit is to obtain evidence of compliance with the organizational requirements related to the following aspects, Management of Functional Safety, Documentation, Functional Safety Assessment and Safety Lifecycle Phases according to the Scope of Certification up to and including Safety Integrity Level 3 (SIL 3) and Systematic Capability 3 (SC 3). This covers the development of E/E/PE safety related Systems including the development of safety related Hardware (E/E/PES safety lifecycle), the development of safety related Software (Software safety lifecycle) and development of safety related Embedded Solutions. As part of the audit process organizational and informational exchange / supply related to other respective Safety Lifecycle Phases between the Certified Company and its customer is considered. This FSM Certification only refers to the listed company location and their involved departments, which comply with the organizational FSM requirements for the listed Scope of Certification. It does not replace approval or certification for specific safety E/E/PE-safety related System Developments. |
